1. Who operates Bingo Friends

Bingo Friends is operated by Alexandru Ocheana, under the public developer name NovoBytes Studio.

2. What data we process

Bingo Friends is a private game between participants and does not create a permanent user account.

To operate the game, we may process:

• the display name chosen by the participant; it may be an alias and does not have to be the participant's real name;
• random technical identifiers for the table, participant, and session;
• data required for gameplay, such as tickets, draws, markings submitted with claims, claims, results, prizes, and BFC (Bingo Friends Credits) balances;
• a technical session resume credential;
• technical network and security data, including the IP address in the reverse proxy's operational logs;
• redacted technical logs and operational metrics required for availability, security, and incident investigation.

The Android app does not request GPS location permissions, and the current version does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking, third-party analytics, or third-party crash reporting.

3. Data stored locally on the device

To resume a session securely, the app may store in the device's private and protected storage:

• the session resume credential;
• the last display name used;
• the local marking state for the current ticket when needed for session continuity.

This data is not an authoritative offline copy of the game. Mobile backup mechanisms are disabled for the app's sensitive data.

4. Why we use the data

The data is processed only to:

• create, access, and manage private Bingo Friends tables;
• synchronize participants and gameplay in real time;
• validate claims and preserve the correctness of results;
• securely resume an interrupted session;
• protect the service, prevent abuse, and limit improper use;
• diagnose technical problems and maintain service availability;
• perform controlled operational backup and restoration.

We do not use this data for behavioral advertising, marketing profiling, or the sale of user data.

5. Legal basis for processing

For data required to provide Bingo Friends functionality, processing is necessary to provide the service requested by the user.

For infrastructure security, abuse prevention, incident diagnosis, and maintaining service reliability, processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating Bingo Friends safely and reliably, with minimal collection and limited retention periods.

6. Who may receive the data

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising or tracking.

To the extent strictly necessary, data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, and technical service providers that support the operation of Bingo Friends, as well as by public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

7. How long we retain the data

The current retention policy is:

• domain data for a completed table: no more than 90 days;
• IP addresses in the reverse proxy's operational logs: no more than 7 days;
• redacted technical logs and operational metrics: no more than 30 days;
• protected logical backups: a rotation of no more than 7 daily copies and 4 weekly copies.

After the applicable periods expire, data is deleted through controlled processes. Data contained in an expired backup is removed when that backup is rotated out.

8. Security

Traffic between the app and the Bingo Friends service is transmitted over HTTPS/WSS. Session resume credentials are stored in the app's protected private storage using the platform's security mechanisms. Access to databases, backups, and administrative operations is separated and operationally restricted.

No security method can guarantee zero risk, but we apply technical and operational measures proportionate to the data being processed.

9. User rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may request:

• access to your data;
• correction of your data;
• deletion of your data;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to certain processing;
• data portability, where applicable.

Bingo Friends does not create a permanent account. To reasonably identify data associated with a session without collecting excessive additional information, a request may require details such as the display name used, the table code, and the approximate period when you played.

Send requests to support@robo-stiri.ro. We may request only the additional information reasonably necessary to verify the request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, including the competent supervisory authority in Romania, where applicable.

10. Children and minors

Bingo Friends does not request a date of birth and does not use data for behavioral advertising. The app's age rating and target audience are declared separately in accordance with app-store requirements and applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's functionality, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The version published at the address above will indicate the date of the latest update.
